The School of Pharmacy is the only free-standing specialist teaching and research institution dedicated to pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences in the UK. Many of its internationally renowned academics and researchers are leading experts in their field of study.

The School’s four academic departments are engaged in dynamic research within most disciplines of pharmacy ranging from drug discovery and delivery to practice and policy issues. Specialist centres within the departments enrich the research and teaching portfolios, in areas such as toxicology, herbal and plant medicines and anti-cancer drug research.

Experts from the School are available to give media comments and interviews on a wide range of issues within the health and pharmaceutical sectors.
