Biography
Dr Liz Jamieson graduated from the University of London with degrees in Physiology (1982) and Psychology (1995). She worked for many years in a high secure (special) hospital researching outcomes after discharge for patients with mental illness. She completed her PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry in 2005. She was the Research Fellow on a Department of Health funded national study (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine/ Royal College of Surgeons of England) investing the feasibility of collecting patient reported outcomes after elective surgery in both NHS day surgery units and NHS and Independent Sector Treatment centres. Liz joined The School of Pharmacy (Centre for Paediatric Pharmacy Research) in July 2009 to work on the CASCADE study - Maximising engagement, motivation and long term change in a structured intensive education programme in diabetes for children, young people and their families.

Outcomes after discharge for mentally disordered offenders; patient reported outcome measures (PROMS).
