Biography

Mandy graduated from University of Nottingham in 2002 and has developed her career in several hospitals. Currently, she is working as a specialist pharmacist at the Clinical Research Facility at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. She is responsible for providing pharmaceutical guidance and assistance to ensure that clinical studies are compliance with regulatory and governance requirements, as well as their safe and efficient delivery in practice. She also provides investigators with pharmaceutical advice to support the development of clinical trial protocols.

Mandy is a member of the Medicines for Children Research Network – Study Adoption Committee. In May 2009, Mandy joined the National Cancer Research Network Chemotherapy and Pharmacy Advisory Service.

Mandy is currently studying for a postgraduate MSc in Experimental Therapeutics at University of Oxford.
