The School of Pharmacy, University of London

Entry Requirements - Students from Canada

The School accepts grade 12 examinations for entry, provided that you have very high scores in the key science subjects. As a guide a score of 80% or higher in Chemistry, 75% or higher in either Mathematics (Finite or Statistics) or Biology, and a score of at least 70% in your third science or Mathematics subject is the kind of performance we would require. If your scores are below this, completion of the first year at a Canadian university, with scores equivalent to 70%+ in Chemistry and at least one other science or Math, would be the guideline as a supplementary requirement.

We consider the whole profile when reviewing applications, so a very high score in Chemistry would be likely to offset somewhat lower scores in other subjects.

After applying through UCAS, applicants from Canada who are currently in Grade 12 should arrange for a High School transcript to be sent directly to the School of Pharmacy. Applicants at university should send both High School and university transcripts.

As a general rule, you should be at least 18 years of age on entry to The School of Pharmacy (1st October in your freshman year). If you will be younger than this, please contact the Registrar at The School of Pharmacy for advice, giving your date of birth.
