English Language Proficiency

All students whose first language is not English must demonstrate adequate proficiency in English language.

The School requires one of the following: 

• 6.5 IELTS (with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill area)
• 92 for internet-based TOEFL
• 237 for computer-based TOEFL (with a minimum of 4 in the TWE)
• 580 for paper-based TOEFL

UETESOL: pass with minimum of grade B in each skill area.

In-sessional English Classes

The School of Pharmacy runs a special English language class once a week from October to June for undergraduate and postgraduate students at no extra cost. The class meets for one and a half hours each week.
