The Master of Pharmacy is a four year undergraduate programme.
The MPharm degree is accredited by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB)
and is awarded by the University of London. The degree entitles graduates, after a further year of pre-registration training, to sit the examination of the RPSGB and register as a pharmacist in Britain. British registration is recognised in other member states of the EU. Please take some time to read the RPSGB’s student code of conduct.
The MPharm is the only undergraduate programme available at The School of Pharmacy, so all our teaching is tailored specifically for this course. Our programme is designed to integrate the teaching, learning and understanding of pharmaceutical science in the context of pharmacy practice. We will provide you with the opportunity to become confident and competent professionals committed to lifelong educational development.
The programme includes contact with patients from the start through hospital visits and patient interviews. It also gives you the chance to study abroad during the third year and the School takes part in the Socrates-Erasmus Programme which offers the opportunity for student exchanges with 30 universities in 13 countries.
